Charism

Missionary Charism

We are called to serve and work for the local churches. We encourage all the parishes and train the lay people so that they can become missionaries both in their own circumstances and in the world.

An International Family

The variety of cultural and continental backgrounds, instead of being obstacles, have become an effective for our missionary works. Fundamentally, it witness that making a whole world a single family, as Saint Conforti had ever wished, is possible.

Consecrated for the mission

By a lifetime consecration for the mission, which is the core of our missionary charism, through our religious and missionary vows, we leave our own families and countries in order to proclaim Jesus and his Gospel to the world. We live our missionary life within a religious community that we consider as our new family called to witness God’s love to those who are in search of Him

Three Fundamental Principles

Ad gentes

Ad gentes expresses the total and exclusive commitment of our institute to proclaiming the Gospel to peoples and places that do not know it.

Ad extra

Ad extra means that our mission is carried out outside of our environment, our culture, our Church, and our country of origin

Ad vitam

Ad vitam conveys our lifetime dedication to the mission, both in duration as well as intensity, to the point of martyrdom, if necessary.
