The celebration of Christmas and New Year are for us a good opportunity to evaluate our life and our daily mission. The first word that we want to share with all of you is “thanks”. Thanks for your friendship, thanks for your help, thanks for your prayers, thanks for being part of our missionary family. The second word is “courage”. This is the word that humankind needs the most nowadays. The pandemic and many other difficulties that we have been facing during this year do not have to discourage us. However, we are invited to be a sign of hope among our brothers and sisters who need our help and our friendship. The third and last word is “ together”. There is only a way to start again and to continue to build a better world. This way is to live and work together. Saint Guido Maria Conforti used to say to his missionaries: “Make of the world one family in Christ”. May God help us to spread peace and to love as brothers and sisters.
